Bobby Cameron, Vice President, Principal Analyst Serving CIOs, Forrester. Customer needs and expectations are redefining business and competition. Customer-obsessed firms win in this new environment by following four operating principles: customer-led (outside-in design), insights-driven (smarter decisions), fast (continuously testing and discovering what works), and connected (reaching across the customers’ ecosystems). Digital technologies sit at the core of this transformation, with retail firms redefining everything from merchandising and replenishment to instore customer engagement. And their IT organizations adopt cloud-first, platform-based strategies with continuous solution delivery (Agile, DevOps, continuous testing, and continuous integration). This session will lay out how retail IT shops rearchitect systems of record, engagement, and automation to meet these challenging new opportunities.
Tim Lowe, President, Lowes Foods.
