IR4 will affect every American, regardless of age, race, education or profession and the adoption of artificial intelligence and robotics on a vast scale will transform virtually all industries and create large-scale upheaval. As with any revolutionary change, there will be substantial anxiety among Americans as old industries and careers are swept away and new opportunities emerge. This paper discusses the results of a Gallup and Northeastern University survey of public opinion data related to AI.
